Join Dr. Robert J. Woodbine of San Bao Holistic Care for World Tai Chi & Qigong Day as Harlem joins millions around the globe to promote peace on World Tai Chi and Quigong Day! Come learn the basics of Qigong and  Tai Chi.

According to the latest Harvard Tai Chi Research Report:

  • An hour of tai chi twice a week for 12 weeks reduced pain and improved mood and physical functioning in people with severe knee osteoarthritis.
  • 16 weeks of tai chi improved the quality and duration of sleep significantly in healthy older adults.
  • Tai chi improved standing balance more than a general exercise program in people who had a previous stroke
  • Tai chi significantly boosted exercise capacity, lowered blood pressure, and improved levels of cholesterol, triglycerides, insulin, and C-reactive protein in people at high risk for heart disease.
