Yes, I will aim to watch a bunch of it if I can’t catch the whole thing. It will be interesting to see how this new version comes out, given that CNN has said it is responding to the outpouring after the first one. I hope it is not shallow, and I hope it engenders more dialogue.

I’m white and no. CNN’s documentaries are usually pretty shallow and offer nothing in terms of news or new information, and that’s the only reason to watch CNN in my opinion. And if there is anything of importance said during the program, I can watch CNN at any point in the next week to hear what was said.

Yes I will be watching…with hopes that it is better than the first one.. as it really did not touch on what it means to be Black in America…yes i will be watching with great expectations

Absolutely. While they may have missed the mark on the first one, it was more because the black experience is hard to document and quantify into 4 hours. I will watch this one in the hopes that it is better, has a more clearly defined goal, solutions, and perhaps open people’s eyes to some opportunities out there. For instance the Charter school they will feature as well as the MLT program for aspiring MBA students.
