Michael Jackson’s last concert rehearsal at
Staples Center on Tuesday, June 23, 2009
in Los Angeles, California.

“I am devastated by the sudden loss of ‘The King of Pop,’ who I have photographed numerous times since the Victory Tour in the ’80s. When he hit the stage at rehearsal, I was thrilled that the magical Michael Jackson was BACK!!! I felt the same adrenaline rush as when I photographed him the first time moonwalking. I was so looking forward to shooting the O2 Arena performances with the amazing production that Kenny Ortega and AEG put together with Michael for his fans.” — Kevin Mazur, Celebrity Photographer and Founder of WireImage.com

Damn, sad. He looks like the consummate professional but very frail in that 1st picture. A loss I’m sure we’ll never recover from. The music will suffer.

If Michael weighed only 112lbs when he died, how could his latest medical reports say that he was in good health? He seemed so frail and underweight… somewhat on the anorexic side. I’ve always been a big fan and will continue to be, never believing the crap for which he was accused. He gave the world so much and got so little in return. May he R.I.P.

Forever a legend, Forever the King of Pop. He is the most influential artist of our time. Rest In Peace Michael <3

My heart is broken. All is ask is that people honor Michael by not believing what you read – about his children, his health, his sexuality. Just love him and the music.

I actually remember seeing you and your brothers on the Ed Sullivan show when I was a little girl. I fell in love with you then and I’ve been a fan ever since. Never feeding into the negativity. I thank you for sacraficing your life for the world’s enjoyment. You are the best that ever did it, the blueprint and there will never be another like you. You will always be the King of Pop.
May God Bless and keep your family, in particlar, your children and your mother, Miss Katherine.
    RIP Michael Joseph Jackson

I remember trying to dance like Michael Jackson as a little girl. My own children enjoyed his music as well. That itself goes to show Michael Jackson was truly a legend and will always be remembered and loved by those who loved him.

RIP MICHAEL JACKSON you deserve it.

A truly talented person has left us. I am the same age as Michael and feel as if I have lost a friend. Just a couple of questions I have though:
Where was the family intervention here? Michael to me was an individual who suffered greatly emotionally and mentally. Where was his family in all of this? Why did no one step in to try to help him; he was obviously in a lot of pain.
How do these damn doctors who pumped him full of the crap they were giving him sleep at night? I hope they rot; not just for Michael’s sake, but for all the other celebrities they are doing the same thing to. Instead of helping him as doctors should, they assisted in his death.

Interesting comments about Michael Jackson. I just want to add how sad Jackson’s sudden death is. He was truly original and will be the ‘King of Pop’ for a long time to come.

MJ is looking a bit tired, but he will always be the purest and innocent person I have seen in the Music Industry. if he wanted he could have had as many girls in his fame but he was so pure and shy. He is a great humanitarian and he gave so much to the world. Such a compassionate person and I love him so much.
The jealous people who only imagined that they get 10% of the fame and name that he had in his days, tarnished his reputation and spoilt his name. I always knew that he is innocent as a child. No sane human being will believe all the rotten things that the media throws just to sell.
The world is so different now without Michael. I love you Mickey, I’ll never let you part, because you are always in my heart.
