Ubiquita NYC is back with the second instillation of Natural Progression at the Harlem Stage.
Ubiquita is a movement of people from the worlds of art, fashion, film, music and everyday folks who converge around a common love of urban alternative music and lifestyle.
Composed of DJ’s Moni, Selly, and Reborn and with new addition DJ shErOck, Ubiquita NYC has been heating up the DJ scene since 2001. Coming together to present an experiential, eclectic and interactive evening, Ubiquita places its audience within an experimental environment, blending live music, visual art, and their own renowned skills as DJ’s. A live painting by Crystal Clarity will be presented throughout each event.
Natural Progression is a three-part series including two dance party installations, tracing the evolution of House and Soul music, followed by a third multi-media performance illuminating the artist’s journey through the urban underground.
This installation, Act II — Let There Be Soul/Soul Deconstructed, explores the evolution of soul music.
Anchored by Ubiquita , the dance party also features live music by Rahj, Taylor McFerrin, Brockett Parsons, and special guest vocalists.
Natural Progression, Act II will be on Sunday, October 19, beginning at 6:00 pm and ending at approximately 10:00 pm at the Harlem Stage Gatehouse, Terrace, 150 Convent Avenue West 135th Street.
Tickets for ACT II are $15, including two beverages. For more information, contact Harlem Stage at 212-281-9240 ext. 19 or click here.
