I Knew Ashley Todd Was Lying

We all hate stereotypes, but unfortunately
there is some truth to some of them.

I heard about the Ashley Todd yesterday but didn’t mention the story because I knew she was lying immediately after reading the full story.

Ashley Todd, a McCain volunteer said that she was mugged and that the assailant carved a “B” into her face in support of Barack Obama. She said she was targeted because of a McCain bumper sticker on her car.

According to this article, she described the assailant as “a dark-skinned black man, 6 feet 4 inches tall, 200 pounds with a medium build, short black hair and brown eyes. He was wearing dark colored jeans, a black undershirt and black shoes.” (Can’t find original article that said “shiny black shoes”.)

I grew up in Harlem. I’ve seen and known thugs all my life. None of them wear black shoes, shiny or not.

Timbs? Check.

Brand named sneaker? Check.

Shiny black shoes? Hardly ever.

also the B is backwards, indicating either a dyslexic assailant or use of a mirror.
