There are so many stories buried under rubble called American History, especially regarding WW2. Did you know of Ma Sanders? She was at Iwo Jima as a civilian and taken into captivity by the Japanese. Did you know that African Americans were interned in Nazi concentration camps as were Rhineland Bastards and soldiers from the Belgian Congo? I've had so-called scholars dismiss me but I don't care, I know the truth, and applaud Spike Lee for always digging deeper and deeper to present it. Bless him and bless Clint Eastwood who had to be called out on his racism. A movie about Charlie Byrd doesn't make you aight.
